The paperwork download includes rental contract, sales tax exemption, and credit card authorization.

Read the contract carefully, as this is the legal agreement between us. Please ask any questions if the terms of the contract are unclear to you.

Texas Sales Tax Exemption

The State of Texas provides a special sales tax exemption for rented or purchased gear essential to and used directly in the production of a motion picture, video, or audio.  Certain restrictions apply but most Tall Tale Pictures rentals qualify for the exemption.  Read more about the sales tax ruling.

In order to best serve you, we need a minimum 24-hours advance placement of booking. Reservations placed within 24-hours of pickup may be subject to rush fees.

If you need to cancel or re-book, please call 24 hours prior to pick up. Within 24 hours we may assess a 50% late cancellation fee.

Rain cancellations within 24-hours of pick up may be subject to 50% fee.

Deposit & Payment

A deposit may be expected for high-demand gear when it is booked.  You may choose one of the following options for a deposit:

• Visa/Mastercard/Discover/Amex authorization
• signed blank check
• cash for amount of rental

You may pay for the equipment rental however you would like when you pick it up:

• Visa/Mastercard/Discover/Amex
• check
• cash

A credit card authorization form must be filed on all rentals regardless of payment method.

Pick up & Return - Seven Days a Week - By Appointment Please

PICK UP as early as 3PM the day before production.
RETURN before 10AM the day after production.

Be sure to call to arrange a specific pickup/return time since we're not a retail rental house.

Rates

Listed Rates are for one day and do not include sales tax.
    Common industry discounts apply for multiple days.
    Call for longer-term discounts and package deals.
Rates on the talltalepictures.com website supersede all other listings, printed or otherwise.
Rates are subject to change without notice but are secured from change with a booking.

Cross Rentals

As respected production professionals, we have cross-rental agreements with other shops.  If you need something not in our inventory, we can add it to your package, subject to availability.  Short-notice cancellations of cross-rented items may be subject to full-day charges.

Insurance

You may be required to show evidence of insurance coverage by providing a Certificate of Insurance listing Tall Tale Pictures as “loss payee.”

Shipping

If you are providing transport, you are responsible for door-to-door shipment. Pickup and delivery may be provided at additional charge. Rental days are calculated with a reasonable allowance for transit to distant locations.
